About the writer

My name is Nancy. I have many interests but the best (awake) time is spent in my art studio, kitchen, in friends kitchens or my office. Unfortunately, these days most of my time is in the office. I’d like to think I am an artist (painter-collage-mixed media). I am also from a family of 5 children: 3 sisters and 1 brother. I am child #2. Thus the Sis’s Kitchen. During the day for a paid job I am a web content writer/designer and e-commerce marketing person with www.ergoindemand.com. I have a sweet husband by the name of Bruce. I thought writing about my favorite recipes – and having been inspired by my youngest sisters blog – would be a fun endeavor. We like sharing recipes. I also have a son, Shaun and daughter, Heidi. They are good cooks too. I hope they will share recipes too. My cat, Katmandu can only share one thought – eat fish. He has a one track mind.  I will share more than that – for sure! Enjoy!
